At the Market
Summer is here! And so are the cherries (look for Vans, Rainier , Bing) and the berries (you can still get strawberries, raspberries, saskatoons, gooseberries and mulberries). A quick survey of the market last week also saw zucchini, carrots, potatoes, rainbow chard, kohlrabi, baby bok choi, fresh sockeye, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant and more.
Sapo Bravo is coming for the first time this season with their unbelievable fruit. Goat's Pride Dairy returns after a few weeks away with their fine goat cheeses - ever tried the gozzarella? Albert's Herbs & Nursery is back after a few weeks of summer planting and La Brasserie Street makes an appearance with their delectable sandwiches.
