Thornton Park across from the VIA Rail Station and near the Main Street Skytrain Station

At the Market

We're loving the sun at the Main St Station Market! Aren't you? This newly summery weather is just what our farmers need to get the most out of the growing season. You'll notice the produce offerings have exploded in colour and variety the last two weeks. Sun, keep on shining!

This week is raffle day too! If you're a member, you get two free tickets. If you're not a member, tickets are just $1 each for a great assortment of goodies donated by market vendors. Membership is just $10 for a year & benefits go beyond free raffle tickets - ask a market crew member about joining!

Next week is our annual Berry Festival when we celebrate BC's berry delights. We have it on good authority that blueberries will be coming on strong by them with the first of the early varieties showing up this week. Feel like testing your baking skills against other Vancouverites? Enter our BC's Best Berry Pie competition - entry forms on our website at http://www.eatlocal.org.

See you at the market!
